Though we hoped to carry on our gear for our summer adventure in Europe, our hiking poles required us to check a bag. And since we're checking one anyway, let's pile all our stuff in one big duffel! Let's call it "pile it error" because when we arrived to Vienna we found that the duffel did not. Austrian Airlines gifted us with a toiletry kit consolation prize and assurances they would deliver our bag. Three days later, in the same clothes and with no updates, we took matters into our own hands and showed up back at the airport for a behind-the-scenes tour of the crypt of lost luggage…including ours.
Ah, hence the clean undies or not cafe.
