Sand beaches are overrated

A local told us that the water is so clear in Croatia because the currents push the crystalline water up the east side of the Adriatic along Croatia's coastline and then the backwash swirls down the Italian coast. I don't know if that's true, but it gives me a good excuse to show you some of our favorite swimming spots.

  1. Not sure I can agree about sand beaches being overrated. All I can say is, I'll take clear water over murky water any day.

  2. The color of the water is breathtaking, and I bet the camera doesn't do it justice, just like sunsets. (But Arlo is a fantastic photographer, and if anyone can capture the colors, he can.)
