At around 4 pm it's time to pause for the "meal between meals" and partake in the great German tradition of "kaffee und kuchen." Julie & I spent the afternoon climbing to the Nuremberg castle and strolling Albrecht Dürer's neighborhood in the hopes of working up an appetite. Why, it's already 4 pm! It didn't take long to find a bakery with cakes displayed on pans that looked more like family-sized pizza pans. Yes, I'll have my cake and eat it too!
