Westminster Cathedral Concert

Our merry band of groupies grew as the grand finale concert at Westminster Catgedral approached. Felicia, who taught choir to Chris in high school and who tells a funny story about Chris breaking two of her pianos, arrived as did Gabrielle's boyfriend. We now have 9 people in our 3 bedroom flat.

At the cathedral we all sat down and then noticed that the Keenan family sat on one side and the Millers the other as if at a wedding. Must have been the formality of the place! Connor and Creda, who moved to London 3 weeks ago, joined us!

Chris was only allowed a 30-minute recital between masses but what an honor that he was selected to perform there. The organ sounded spectacular and Chris said it was his favorite organ of the three on his tour. The organ is above in a loft in the back but you sit facing the front, which is an odd way to see a concert, but we were in the seat of the Catholic Church of England and you can't really complain about the venue...

Our standing ovation had to be taken outside on the church steps! Bravo, Chris!
