Being near a major ski area (Madonna di Compiglia) we found a gondola up the mountain that went so high that we had to walk down to the trail. But no complaints! The rain started and for the first time we pulled out our rain gear and umbrellas. The wildflowers did not disappoint and cheered us along to our hut. Arlo noticed that all huts sit at the top of a long climb and said that helps sell more beer. We arrived for happy hour on the deck. The sun joined us.
