Suffering from overdoing it yesterday, we decided to spend another night at the top of the world and found an icy stream to soak our tender feet. We did hike up to a grassy, flower filled meadow for a nap and then a strenuous trek to the hut next door (50 meters away) for Kaisershmarrn and Radler (we hear they aid in healing).
I'm relieved that you haven't been deprived of Kaiserschmarrn even though you're in Italy. I guess some things can't be contained by silly borders.
