If they are going to offer a lift ride up the first two thousand feet of the mountain, why would we refuse? So up and away we went to begin our multi-day trek over and around the Rosegarden group of the Dolomites in the Italian Alps. We hiked from the KolnerHütte south along a wildflower path. Feeling so energized by our easy start, when an alternate route over a pass presented itself we took the challenge and scrambled up the crack.
Beautiful scenery! Have a great time and don't fall into any cracks.
